Heart Centred Intuition Awakening Practice
The Way to the Heart Introspective Practice: A 28 Minute Practice to Reconnect with Your Inner Self
Life has a way of throwing you off your game, leaving you feeling like a stranger in your own body.
You’re hustling, juggling, and—some days—just surviving.
But what if I told you that the answers to the chaos swirling around you aren’t somewhere “out there” in the next self-help book or Instagram post?
Nope, they’re right where they’ve always been—inside you.
Introducing The Way to the Heart—a 28 minute mind-body practice that’s going to help you hit pause on all the external noise, drop into your body, and reconnect with that deep, intuitive part of you that actually knows what’s up. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill yoga class.
We’re talking gentle movement, somatic awareness, and release that will have you feeling like you’ve finally found the damn reset button on your nervous system.
Who Is This Practice For?
If you’ve been feeling:
• Disconnected from yourself and your inner truth,
• Overwhelmed by stress and external demands,
• Emotionally blocked, unsure how to process your feelings,
• Restless, searching for deeper meaning or clarity,
• Or simply burnt out and in need of a reset,
Then The Way to the Heart is exactly what you need. This practice is your opportunity to take a step back, tune in, and give your heart the attention it deserves.
What to Expect in the Practice
Over the next 20 odd minutes, you’ll move through a series of gentle yoga and somatic movements designed to:
• Release tension in key areas like the neck, shoulders, and chest.
• Balance the nervous system through breathwork and slow, mindful movement.
• Reconnect with your intuition through heart-centered meditation.
• Ground yourself and create space for reflection and healing.
This practice is perfect whether you’re a seasoned yoga practitioner or brand new to mind-body work. All you need is an open heart and the willingness to explore what lies within.
Why This Practice Matters
In a world that’s constantly asking us to move faster and do more, The Way to the Heart offers something refreshingly different: a chance to slow down, breathe, and listen to the quiet wisdom within.
When we take the time to nurture our connection to ourselves, we not only experience more peace and balance in the moment, but we also begin to live more authentically, guided by our inner knowing.
Journalling Prompts from the Practice
1. In what area of your life, has your heart and soul been whispering to you, yearning for your attention to create the change it craves.
2. What is the specific change, your heart and soul is yearning for you to make, so you can be more in alignment with your true self.
3. If you could take 1 small step or action straight away to let your soul know you're listening to her music, what would it be?
4. if that step of action was already complete how would you feel, where would you feel it I your body, what movement would you make to express this?
More Journaling Prompts to Deepen Your Experience
To enhance your journey, I’ve also created five journaling prompts to help you reflect on your experience after the practice:
1. How did my body feel during the practice, and where did I notice the most sensation or tension?
2. What messages or insights did my heart share with me today?
3. How do I typically respond to stress, and did I notice any shifts in my nervous system during or after the practice?
4. What emotions am I carrying in my body right now, and how can I release or transform them?
5. What steps can I take to stay more connected to my intuition in daily life?
Take this as an invitation to reconnect with yourself. You deserve moments of peace, clarity, and deep inner knowing. I hope The Way to the Heart helps you find that—and so much more.
